Having your students take notes in their sketchbooks about the topics your covering in art can be boring and sometimes feel like a punishment. But with this package, you’ll be able to cover the same information in a more hands-on and engaging way - ensuring a greater retention of knowledge.
This package is full of interactive components and information to help your students learn about the elements of art.
This package contains:
- 46+ Interactive Sketchbook activities covering the Elements of Art (including variations for younger students)
- Step-by-step visual directions for each item
- Multiple options for activities so you can easily find what will work for your age group (like simplified color wheels with only primary/secondary colors)
- Two videos showing you all the interactive components in action and how I've arranged them in my own sketchbook
- 7 PowerPoint presentations that cover all the information needed to complete the interactive sketchbook components (though I highly recommend using these in conjunction with your own art lessons and instruction)
- A version that includes the UK/AUS/CAN spelling of "Colour"

Preview:
The sketchbook in the preview video is 9”x12”. If you do not have actual sketchbooks for your students, you can have them make their own by folding 12”x18” pieces of drawing paper in half and binding them together using brads, a hole punch and yarn/ribbon, or by simply stapling the folded end.

A ZIP file is a compressed folder containing multiple files. This type of file format allows you to download many files at once.
Before you can directly access the files, you'll need to "unzip" the file. No worries though, both Windows and Mac OSX are able to open and uncompress ZIP files easily without additional software (iPhones and iPads will require an additional app).
If your computer runs Microsoft Windows:
- Right-click on the unopenedZIP folder.
- Choose "Extract All" from the menu that opens.
- Choose a destination. This is the place where you want to keep the unzipped files. You can choose "My Documents," for example.
- Click "Extract."
If your computer runs Mac OSX:
Double-click the unopened ZIP — the file should extract automatically. If that doesn't work, hold down the control key and click the ZIP file icon. Choose "Open With" and then select "Archive Utility." The utility will extract the ZIP files, and you can find them in the same folder whereyou downloaded them.
